Tooth extractions
Extractions
When your tooth causes you problems or you have an abscess it needs to be removed. This is done under local anaesthetic and once it is done the pain will be only a memory. |
Wisdom teeth removal
Wisdom teeth removal
Wisdom teeth do not mean that we get wise. Sometimes if there is not enough space for them to grown they can cause damage to adjacent teeth or if bacteria are present severe inflammation of the tissues around them. Wisdom tooth removal is done only if it is necessary. |
Retained roots, Apicoectomy
Impacted, ankylosed or severely broken teeth.
When we do not take care of your teeth they send us pain signals from time to time. Eventually they die and brake down. We think that all problems are gone but if they get infected we can get serious pain and swelling. Those roots need to be removed. Apiceoctomy When a tooth dies it can develop a chronic periodontitis in the form of granuloma or a cyst. We can try and treat it nonsurgicay trough the canal but sometimes this is impossible. Then we need to remove the lesion surgically or it can grow and damage adjacent structures. |
