Endodontically treated teeth are often restored with prefabricated or cast post and cores. Before Nonsurgical retreatment is commenced again they need to be removed. Sometimes root canal treatments fail. This can be due to marginal leaking, secondary caries, incomplete debridement, trauma, past expiration date. Those teeth can be saved still we just need to repeat the root canal treatment. Root canal retreatment can be very successful but is time consuming and difficult procedure.
